MEYOU Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MEYOU mobile application (“Platform”) operated by COMPASS DIGITAL (Udyam Registration No: UDYAM-MH-19-0141113, GST: 27BDLPK2182C2ZN) (“MEYOU”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines (“Platform Policies”).

1. Nature of Services

MEYOU is a social calling platform that enables users to connect with other users via voice and video calls for entertainment and interaction purposes.

We do not guarantee:

  • User identity authenticity
  • Quality or outcome of conversations
  • Continuous or error-free service

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must provide a valid mobile number for registration
  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that provide false information.

3. User Conduct (Strict Rules)

By using MEYOU, you agree NOT to:

  • Engage in sexual, explicit, or inappropriate conversations
  • Ask for or share personal contact details (number, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.)
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or exploit other users
  • Impersonate another person or use fake identity
  • Record calls or capture screenshots without consent
  • Use bots, automation, or multiple accounts
  • Promote illegal activities, services, or substances

Violation may result in immediate permanent ban + legal action

4. Safety & Moderation

MEYOU uses AI systems and human moderation to monitor and prevent:

  • Abuse and harassment
  • Fraud and scams
  • Policy violations

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content
  • Suspend or terminate accounts
  • Report users to law enforcement

5. Payments, Coins & Virtual Items

  • Users may purchase Coins for in-app features
  • All purchases are final and non-refundable
  • Coins are licensed, not owned, and cannot be transferred
  • Coins may expire if unused

Any misuse of payments or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension.

6. Content & License

You retain ownership of your content. However, by using MEYOU, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for platform operations and improvements.

We may remove any content that violates laws or policies.

7. Privacy & Data Usage

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using MEYOU, you consent to data collection and usage as described therein.

8. No Emergency Use

MEYOU is not a replacement for emergency services. Do not use the Platform for contacting police, hospitals, or emergency responders.

9. Platform Ownership

All intellectual property rights related to MEYOU (software, design, branding, features) are owned exclusively by COMPASS DIGITAL.

Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

10. Intermediary Status

MEYOU acts as an intermediary under Indian law and is not responsible for user-generated content, except as required by law.

Users are solely responsible for their actions.

11. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Breach Community Guidelines
  • Engage in illegal or harmful activities

Repeated violations will result in permanent ban.

12. Limitation of Liability

MEYOU is provided on an “as is” basis. We are not liable for:

  • User behavior or interactions
  • Loss, damages, or disputes between users
  • Service interruptions or technical issues

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MEYOU harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of any law or third-party rights

14. Grievance & Reporting

In accordance with applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and relevant rules, MEYOU has established a mechanism to address user grievances and complaints.

MEYOU reserves the right to investigate reported issues and take necessary actions, including content removal, account suspension, or escalation to law enforcement authorities, where required.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts of Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

MEYOU is a platform for social interaction only. Users interact at their own risk. We do not guarantee user intent, behavior, or outcomes.
